Hello,
My name is Hyun. Based on the never-sleeping energy of New York City, I’m a Senior Motion Designer and Visual Storyteller.
Design to me is an expression of my imagination. I enjoy using my imagination, passion, and skills to create informational motion graphics, commercials, social content, and illustrations for design & production studios, startups, and NGOs focused on environmental issues and nature. My work is driven by the conviction that motion graphics should have meaning to it.
Previously, I have created and delivered motion graphics for companies in fashion, travel, food, entertainment, and consumer packaged goods. I have also maintained long-standing relationships with various clients.
I’m a morning person who loves watching the dawn sky outside my window. I love design, technology, motion graphics, and enjoying nature.
I find inspiration in all aspects of my life, especially in art, film, and nature. I enjoy drawing and going to movies, and I love to wonder about special effects, how they make them and design title sequences. I also enjoy hiking and taking a bike ride to organize my ideas. When I’m really stuck on ideas, I clean and organize my house to gather my complicated thoughts.
